Alaska Airlines Ground Stop Lifted
Nationwide Pause Due to Technical Issue
Normal Operations Resume
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) lifted a ground stop for all Alaska Airlines flights Wednesday, after a technical issue that calculates weight and balance of aircraft was resolved. The issue had caused all Alaska Airlines flights nationwide to be temporarily grounded for about an hour.
The FAA stated that the issue has been resolved and normal operations have resumed. Alaska Airlines has confirmed that all flights are now departing and arriving as scheduled. Passengers with questions or concerns are advised to contact Alaska Airlines directly.
