NIMCET 2024: Eligibility Criteria and Exam Details
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to appear for the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be Indian nationals.
- Have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate (or 65% for reserved category candidates) in their qualifying Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
Exam Details
The NIMCET 2024 will be held as a Common Entrance National Level Test conducted by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The exam is scheduled to take place on June 11, 2023 (Sunday), from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The NIMCET is a computer-based test that consists of three sections:
- Section A: Mathematics (70 questions)
- Section B: Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning (60 questions)
- Section C: Computer Awareness (15 questions)
Each correct answer carries one mark, while there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
