The National Institute of Technology (NIT) has announced that the application process for the MCA programme for the year 2024-25 will begin soon. Candidates interested in admission to the MCA programme in any of the participating NITs should take note of the following important dates:

- Publication of Advertisement in Press and Web: Wednesday, 01/03/2023
- Opening date for online Registration: Wednesday, 01/03/2023
- Date and Time of Online Entrance Test: Sunday, 11/06/2023, 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
How to Apply?
The application process will be conducted online. Interested candidates will be able to fill out the application form at the official NIMCET website. The website will be updated with the application link once it becomes available.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the MCA programme:
- Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology or Business Administration or Master's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology or a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)/ Master in Computer Applications (MCA)
- Must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories)
Entrance Exam
Admission to the MCA programme is based on the NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test). The NIMCET entrance exam will be conducted on Sunday, 11/06/2023, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
